An organic sencha from the slopes of Shimizu in the mountains of Shizuoka. Even though he uses organic techniques, the producer, Yamamoto Kengo succeeds in producing very high-quality sencha, with great depth and rich scents.

This Sayama Kaori cultivar sencha is one of Mr. Yamamoto’s marvelous teas. Sayama Kaori is a cultivar that originated in Saitama, but has also been successful in Shizuoka. Young Yamamoto Kengo employs his skills perfectly to bring out its good qualities while avoiding its defects. The liquor is powerful and round, but does not have the astringency that sometimes ruins this cultivar. The strongest point of this cultivar is in fact its fragrance. It is strong but very balanced, sweet, slightly floral.

With great length in the mouth, here is a traditionally steamed organic green tea that has great strength, both in terms of fragrance and flavour.
