The refinement and lightness of this hôji-cha might displease those who love this type of tea, In fact, unlike the majority of cheap hôji-chas, this one has been produced using first spring harvest tea. The slender stems of Hon.yama mountain teas have been lightly roasted to produce a fragrance that is not aggressive, but mellow with something of a vanilla note.
It is a hôji-cha with subtle, deep flavours.
