Kurasawa
A sencha cultivar selected in 1967 at Shizuoka’s prefectural research centre from a Yabukita seed (a natural cross). Also known as Shizu-7111 and above all as one of the parents of the famous Kôshun.
Relatively astringent, it has a very interesting slightly floral fragrance recalling aromatic herbs. Time of harvest: early.
