Haru-midori

A sencha variety developed at the Makurazaki national research centre in Kagoshima from a cross of Kanaya-midori and Yabukita. It was registered in 2000. Rich in umami, it has very fresh, vegetal, milky, sometimes fruity, aromas. It makes high quality, very elegant sencha. Time of harvest: late.
