Even if Sawada Tomohiro is a newcomer among Tokoname kyûsu teapot artisans, he already has considerable experience as a potter, having worked as one for around 20 years. The metallic aspect is produced by using a fine layer of an original glaze and firing then cooling in reduction.
With its elegant and original shape, this kyûsu teapot can be used for many different kinds of Japanese teas.
