Yagi Nobuki is a newcomer among the artisans who specialize in Tokoname teapots. He started apprenticing in 2010 with the famous potter Yoshikawa Setsudô, who has had a strong stylistic influence on his works.
This teapot is made from glazed clay and has an elegant shape that is indeed reminiscent of Setsudô’s works. Only the exterior is glazed, however, leaving natural clay inside.
