Cultivar and technical information
This 14-day shaded kabuse-cha was made from the Uji-hikari cultivar. Alongside Gokô, Asahi and Samidori, it is one of the most well-known shaded tea cultivars from Uji. This variety was created from selected indigenous tea trees from Uji.

The nose
This Kabuse-cha from Wazuka starts by enchanting the senses with its rich sweet fragrance that takes us to a bakery with scents of fruit pies, custard and vanilla.

The mouth
It, of course, has no astringency and has intense umami. In the mouth, the aromas are also sweet, evoking juicy fruits and pear sensations in the aftertaste.
Subsequent infusions are just as round and sweet, and are accompanied by sweet citrus fruit aromas.

Summary
This is a very delicious kabuse cha that remains fresh and fluid even with the strength of its umami.
