Born in 1981, Nakagawa Takayoshi is also part of the young generation in Tokoname. He has incredible technical expertise and, for a while, would use a wood kiln in a style inspired by Konishi Yôhei. However, his recent pieces—which we have some examples here—were fired in an electric kiln and were made using the naturally red clay of Tokoname.
