We have here a summer black tea produced in Hinokage. However, the tea itself originates from a tea garden located in Nobeoka. The cultivar used is Kôshun, a variety intended for green tea, but it is well suited to every type of tea.
In olfaction, the aromas are characteristic of Kôshun with its notes of bitter almonds, and nuances of plums, ripe peaches, white sugar, and dried wood.
On the palate, the tea is slightly tannic. It is relatively light, is rather sweet, is fruity, and has dried herb notes.
This Kôshun is very rich at the end in the mouth, but we also find all the nuances present in the nose.
